The investigations on “Grain yield and incremental cost benefit ratio (ICBR) biorational insecticides against Helicoverpa armigera in chickpea” were carried out at the Student’s Instructional Farm, C. S. Azad University of Agriculture Technology, Kanpur during Rabi season 2021-22 2022-23 with three replications eight treatments insecticides, armigera. like HaNPV, Nimbecidine, Bacillus thuringiensis, Beauveria bassiana, Dhatura leaf extract, Spinosad Indoxacarb, reducing infestation pod borer, providing a higher net return per rupee invested. grain 20.10 q/ha 19.70 was recorded application spinosad 45% SC (Tracer) @ 84.375 g/ha both years. most favourable obtained from plot treated 1:13.98 1:14.80 followed by indoxacarb 14.5% 75g/ha 1:8.51and 1:8.79, thuringiensis 1.5 kg/ha 1:7.62 1:7.50, nimbecidine 2% 1:6.38 1:6.53, HaNPV 300LE/ha. 1:5.23 1:5.38, bassiana 3kg/ha. 1:4.57 1:4.52 dhatura extract 5% 1:3.23 1:2.57
